Actually biopunk is a sub-genre and both System Shock and BioShock are biopunk. BioShock is considered mainly dielsepunk though.
I am pleased to see that Infinite is going to be steampunk, there aren’t really a lot of quality games that are in that genre.
I stand corrected.
I always felt that Bioshock had a lot more biopunk feel to it because of all the genetics and stuff.
Yeah, technically System Shock is a biopunk game BioShock is more so. I like that Infinite is steampunk and am very excited for its release.
More good news on the action rpg front is that Warren Spector has said that he plans on making more games like Deus Ex. This makes me very happy indeed.
