Water cooling

so i hope my system can run it on the highest settings

Sounds good on paper. One thing is missing for me: what about the UI hide/opacity options? Judging by released videos, this game has high contrast UI elements always present on screen which is bad for plasma TVs because it will cause heavy image retention. Have you though about that and are you going to implement UI options (opacity is the best solution IMO)?

These specs make me so happy, but as a disabled gamer who uses a 360 controller on my PC, I have to ask: You said that the controls are customizable for mouse/keyboard, but does that carry over to controllers too? I’m buying it on PC regardless, I’m just curious.

Ah cool. Well I decided to get the game on PS3 because buying a new computer just for one game doesn’t justify it enough…even though it is Bioshock. I am a little annoyed they haven’t listed the differences for both console versions. I mean it would be nice to know. At least what the additions would be. I already got the Bioshock game so no point bringing that up

@srift, you should run it no problem. me, im getting the 660ti from msi with frozr 2 cooling. they are just simply amazing graphics cards. i own the 550ti msi cyclone and im not worried at all about these graphics

Pre ordered my Ultimate Songbird Edition for PC 2 days ago at gamestop. was kinda surprised to still see that edition still available in stores but i got mine! i have an nvidia geforce gtx 550ti msi cyclone overclocked to over 1k ghz. ill be just fine but will soon be upgrading to the 660ti

Using the HD textures with Direct X 11
Will the Nvidia GTX 660ti run the game over 40 frames?
I wasnt sure if the recommended specs take into account the HD textures?

Honestly, not bad at all. Luckily for us, Unreal Engine is not overly demanding.
When i get myself a decent gaming PC, this is the first game i’ll buy, even when i’ve already ordered it for my PS3

Look, I appreciate the love for PCs and I have an awesome one to play this game on, however, I have a question about DRM. When I got Bioshock for the PC, the game was made unauthorized every time I went a week without playing the game. I know Irrational is now an independent company but what’s going on with that? Are you still going with secuROM? If so, I’m not buying this game.

steam? well F You! You aren’t getting my money Irrational. Would have been happy with no DRM or GFWL (like BIoshock and Bioshock 2 respectively) but the steam part makes this game worth no more than $5, if anything at all.

Have the previous 2 on PC, and specs higher than your recommended, but I would rather play this on a console than deal with the POS that steam is.
