You know who’s lucky? Irrational Games staffers. Not only do they get to work on games like BioShock, Freedom Force and System Shock 2, they get to have their names written into the fiction. Jerks.
You might even recall establishments like Sinclair Spirits and Robertson’s Tobaccoria in BioShock. Those were named after staffers Scott Sinclair and Shawn Robertson.
Here’s the thing about BioShock Infinite: Now it’s your turn.
With our new game we also want to pay tribute to our community. That’s why we’re giving one of you the chance to become immortalized within the world of Columbia! You could end up as the namesake of a building, a character, a business–whatever our artists come up with. It’s the ultimate bragging rights.
The submission period ended April 13 at 11:59PM Eastern Time. The winner will be announced in the coming weeks.

This game makes me happy. I’m excited to not only see Ken Levine back in action, but I’m also excited to see the new graphics engine.
I still play Bioshock after all these years and just look around wondering what it would be like to live in Rapture. The game just has that artistic feeling that sucks you in.

Well there are some great names here so I hope I can hold a candle. My name is also pretty similar to Shawn Robertsons name. Hopefully Ill be immortalized in a game that inspired me to go to school to create games. If I see my name anywhere in Bioshock, even something small like a road or whatever, Ill probably kill over from an overdose of happiness. Either way, Bioshock Infinite will be in my library right next to the others the very hour it comes out. Please, oh please, release a beta so I can get my fix.
