Irrational Games is coming out to PAX East in Boston, and we’d love to meet you.
You’ll be able to find us at our booth in the North Lobby of the Boston Convention Center. We’ll be overseeing a massive sculpture of Him, Elizabeth’s jailer and protector seen at the end of BioShock Infinite’s gameplay video. The sculpture will be accompanied by an actress playing Elizabeth herself–dressed in a costume hand-crafted by Irrational’s own Sarah Rosa. Fans who come by the installation can pose in His claw, chat with Irrational developers, and at 1:00pm and 3:00pm each day, pick up some nice swag.
On Saturday night, we’ll be taking over M.J. O’Connor’s inside the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel directly adjacent to the convention center, to chat with fans, offer free food and drinks, play board games, and raffle off some very exclusive prizes. This is an invite-only event, and so far the response has been overwhelming. However, we will have a limited number of tickets to give to you at the show! Here’s how you can get in:
– On Friday and Saturday at 1:00pm, and 3:00pm we will give away tickets at our booth in the North Lobby.
– Before our panel on world creation begins, we’ll be handing out tickets to the first people standing in line–so get there early! The panel features Irrational’s Ken Levine, Nate Wells, Shawn Robertson, and Stephen Alexander. It will be held Friday, March 11 at 5:00pm.
There are also many ways to get your hands on Irrational swag at PAX East–don’t miss out!
Hope to see you at the show!

Yeah, this is going to be great. For those of us who had the invite stuff sent to us and responded, does that guarantee we already are invited to the event Saturday night?

Its a real shame that something like this will never come to Australia. There is such love for the Bioshock IP here

I’m excited to meet everyone (even though I’ve been super busy moving house and getting a full time job.) See you all there!

I’ll definitely have to stop by the both sometime. And I’m really looking forward to the party on Saturday night. I won an invite from that twitter contest.

So the meet up that was scheduled to happen after the panel on Friday is cancelled? Or is that what this is and I got the days wrong and/or created a fictional event in my head?

Awesome everything guys – it was a blast hanging out with you all at the booth and during the party. Big thanks to Joe the producer for the awesome game of “Last Night on Earth” and to all of Irrational for the “winners copy”. Hope to get in touch with you all soon and maybe see some of you around the city or at E3!
