Custom PS3 Cover Giveaway

by on May 13 2013

Soon after BioShock Infinite was first announced, we worked with Game Informer to come up with three unique covers that “…showcase what a video game magazine might have looked like on Columbia in the early 1900s.” Each of our three Game Informer covers was created by none other than Senior Character Concept Artist, Robb Waters. Putting his incredible talent on display, his individual covers became many fans first look at the art-style and direction for what BioShock Infinite would become.

Recently, we released a handful of alternate covers for our fans to download and print, but we thought we could go one step further. We asked Robb to create a one-of-a-kind piece, and after distilling his vigor, he’s created the amazing custom PlayStation 3 inlay seen below.

Yes, that is the Handyman with his little pet (Bella), and this is the only one that will exist, ever. This is not a photocopy or a lithograph print—this is an original graphite-on-paper drawing, and Robb even signed a certificate of authenticity denoting this as the only one in existence. Created within the same dimensions as a PlayStation 3 inlay, this will be trimmed and placed inside a US PlayStation 3 version of the game for shipping.

We’re spinning this web of a story because one of our lucky fans will become the only person in the world to own this unique artwork. For your chance to win, post a comment below, and tell us about your favorite moment with the Handyman from BioShock Infinite.

I would have to say my favourite moment was battling the ‘ghost’ of the Lady Comstock. She was definitely a good person to be up against on a fight since she raised many dead soldiers and you still needed to hit her at the same time! I died at least 5/6 times because Elizabeth kept chucking me ammo when I actually needed health! Was worth it though.

ever since this ended, i have been getting random bioshock pictures only when i check my inbox. There is one of a big daddy being chased by bees and a few others. Does this mean anything or is it normal?

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the Handyman? He didn’t cause me compassion!
