S2 @ GOG.comIf there's anyone here who hasn't done it yet, you can vote for System Shock 2 on the "Most Wanted" games list over at Good Old Games. Here's the direct link: http://www.gog.com/en/wanted/ It is currently the number one most wanted game there, but I don't think a few more votes could hurt |

I wonder how hard CD Project (they run the site, right?) have tried to get it and Planescape thus far... |

Voted. I wasn't even aware that section was on the site. Seeing the game on GOG would be great because then I can buy it knowing for sure that I would be able to get it to run correctly on my machine. |

If you mean CD Projekt (http://cdprojekt.com/) then no, I don't think so. If they did, The Witcher would be advertised all over GOG.com |

It's actually them. They obviously consider The Witcher to be a good new game |

According to Wikipedia its them... |

Holy crap, that surprises me. Well, I've learned something new today! Cool.
The fact that "CD Projekt Red" isn't mentioned anywhere threw me off, I guess. Then again I haven't read all the fine print. |

CD Projekt are cool, the huge free updates for the Witcher etc... It makes me think they would have tried to get System Shock 2 up there considering how wanted it is. *Shrugs* |

Too many games on the list are on Steam already, they really should put system shock 1 and 2 up on GOG. |

It's not that easy, mostly the difficulties are because GOG has no DRM in their games, that's where the publisher pulls out. And so far there are no Take-Two/EA games on the site |

I'd take it even with DRM that leaves you with 24 hours left to live. |

If GOG could they certainly would. SS2 has been leading their most wanted list for months now. |

SS2 + GoG = Instant buy. |

I think it would be for quite a few people. |

GOG guys need something like "buy all instantly"-button. I probably had all games at one time in my live, but I don't keep stuff. Steam needs some competition (direct2drive, stardock, gog, ...) just a healthier economy this way? |

I still need to get Arcanum, I've been looking for it for ages. |

I was going to post about this, but I'm glad to see that there's a forum thread for it already. System Shock 2 has been at the top of the GoG.com list for a long time. So has the original System Shock as well as Planescape. I own my own copy of Planescape, so all that's left seems to be some sort of deal to get these games out there. I really hope it happens. Add me to the list of people who would pick up SS1 and SS2 immediately if it shows up on GoG.com |
