This site is filled with people who love the original System Shock and SS2, who beg day in, day out for a re-make, re-release, etc...some say that a 3rd System Shock will never happen due to it being turned into "Dead Space" originally, but I'm yet to hear any official word, I also have no idea who actually owns the rights anymore, is there any future for System Shock? (sequels, prequels, re-releases, ANYTHING.) Can someone please straighten this out once and for all, to put our minds at ease.

	Irrational Games doesn't hold the rights to make a new or remake of System Shock 2. EA currently holds the rights, as far as we can tell.

	Hard to tell, because there is absolutely nothing on their website about it, anywhere. Can't even send them an e-mail about it; their site doesn't supply an address, and their in-site form requires you to select which game you're talking about -- and, since they don't list it, I can't truthfully complete the form. Maybe I should write them a genuine ink-on-paper letter, asking them to give the rights back.

	There's always hope. Maybe one day, IG will get the rights back and can do something amazing (MMO, perhaps?) with it.
